Louisville South KOAMeet Your Host David Masarik, manager of the Louisville South KOA Kampground, was a 'people person,' working in a casino's Human Resources department, when his obvious people skills were noticed. Before he could find and hire a manager for the casino's new campground, he was made the campground General Manager. "We have all experienced bad customer service. When campers come to my KOA, I want our great customer service to make them forget about the daily grind and reconnect with their family and friends. I want campers to be able to tell other people that they have had a great time, recharged their batteries and bonded with their families," says David. David credits his staff with making the campground a success, "I am so proud of my staff. Through great customer service, they make our campers feel relaxed so they can have a great time." Whenever David's family comes for a visit, they go camping. "We won't have seen each other for a year or more, so we love to catch up around the campfire. The children love swimming and fishing. I think one day they may turn into fish! I will have the fun memories of camping with my family and the children will always remember the times we spent together as a family."
