NRA is in town

The National Rifle Association convention is May 16 to 18 at the Kentucky Expo Center here in Louisville. We've heard the hotels are near full, so if you decide to take your camper or want to rent a kabin, we have availability. This weekend is dedicated to our Armed Forces, so all active military personnel with valid ID who reserve Friday night get 1/2 off Saturday night. Our HEATED pool is open, and we have an indoor ADULT hot tub. Come camp with us!!

Salt River Paddle Battle

An endurance canoe and kayak race geared to test paddlers' stamina and skill on a 40-mile course. Beginning at 9 a.m. Sat., June 14,continuing for 24 hours until all participants end up at the Louisville South KOA campground, where camping is free. The cost to enter the race is $30 and includes Sunday brunch, a t-shirt and a chance to win prize awards.Pre-register with Make Hammons by calling 502-507-9364 or online at www.kycanoe.com. Deadline to register is May 30.
