Stay and play at one of the largest family orientated KOA's in Kentucky, an ideal gateway to the Bluegrass State's beautiful countryside and only minutes from downtown Louisville. Roam nature trails through the woods and fish along the Salt River. Hop on our stretch golf cart for a two-mile ride along the river and observe the campground's prehistoric Indian cave dwellings burrowed in limestone cliffs.
Youngsters can play a round of mini golf or check out our game room. Adults can enjoy our extra large enclosed hot tub. Host a family reunion or company picnic - group facilities in our Derby Room can host up to 80 people.
With 100 foot pull-through and 50-amp sites available, our campground is truly big rig friendly. No RV? No problem! Enjoy a comfortable stay in one of our cozy one or two bedroom air-conditioned cabins. For those who like the comforts of home, try our fully furnished lodge with full kitchen and bathroom. For more rustic accommodations, spend the night on a grassy tent site, all sites have fire pits and picnic benches. We're "pet friendly" and have a lovely leash free dog park.
There's plenty to do in the Louisville, KY area. Attractions include the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory, Churchill Downs and Kentucky Derby Museum and Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center. You can experience everything from the Bourbon Trail (Jim Beam, Maker's Mark, Wild Turkey) to the Mammoth Cave National Park, plus museums and cultural fairs! The list is endless.
